Fall Conference with David Cook is for Students and Teachers

Hello CEOMTA MEMBERS!

We hope this finds you well. Theresa and I proudly serve together as our district’s conference chairs and we are excited to invite you to come to this year’s conferences because they will be like no other! This year, there will be offerings for us as teachers AND for students.

While you may not be able to secure tickets to see Taylor Swift or Jennifer Hudson in concert next week, with the help of The Wise Channel, there will be a FREE STUDENT TALK being offered and you and your students’ families are invited to come hear from and meet their music director and musician David Cook (son of our very own CEOMTA member, Janice Cook) for a FREE student talk next Thursday, September 7th at 6:30pm at Kawai Piano Gallery in Polaris!

David will be speaking at our Fall 2023 CEOMTA Conference the very next day, Friday, September 8th (doors open at 9:15) with the talk geared to our teacher membership discussing our important role as teachers in our students’ lives.

During both inspirational talks, David will share his journey from growing up in Central Ohio to working with some of the most well known and respected artists today! Thursday’s talk is geared specifically towards students and their families (teachers are welcome too) and Friday’s talk is for teachers. Both events will include a Q&A.

I invite you to save your seat TODAY by sharing with your studio and filling out the RSVP forms below. Seating is limited. Thanks and we hope to see you there.
