Denison University International Piano Competition

The application process for the inaugural Denison University International Piano Competition is open now! It is open to classically-trained high school pianists of any nationality in grades 9-11. Current high school seniors are NOT eligible.

The competition will be held in the beautiful Sharon Martin Hall in the Michael D. Eisner Center for Performing Arts in Granville, OH on February 10-11, 2024.

We have a wonderful group of judges and guest artist. Besides the competition rounds, there will be a panel discussion with current Denison students and faculty for contestants and their parents, as well as masterclasses with Hana Chu, Logan Skelton, and Sun Min Kim. There will be a piano recital by our guest artist Logan Skelton on Saturday, February 10th.

Applications are due on November 15th, 2023. You can apply through Slideroom (please visit our website below). Applicants should upload pre-screening video recording of 10-15 minutes of their playing. Applicants will be notified about their acceptance by December 15th, 2023.
