Teachers are nurturers and we have a tendency toward taking care of others first and neglecting ourselves. This leads to burnout, disorganization, poor health, and uninspired teaching. The goal of this unique conference is to help address the physical and emotional health of teachers and encourage and enable you to take better care of yourself. After the tumultuous year we all have endured, we look forward to hearing from local experts as they share physical and emotional techniques to calm our bodies and our minds as we strive to balance our work and our personal lives. The tools we learn will help us present our best selves and give us relevant strategies to guide our stressed out students as well. Our guest speakers will include fellow CEOMTA member, teacher and Musician Wellness Specialist, Lynn Singleton, and Carlos Bing, licensed professional counselor with Key Counseling and Consultation. CEOMTA is excited to have these professionals share with us this year!
