Dmitry Rachmanov presents works of Alexander Scriabin

Steinway artist Dmitry Rachmanov will present Alexander Scriabin: In Memoriam (1915-2015), in celebration of the composer’s 100th memorial anniversary, on Friday (9/11) at 8 p.m. in Weigel Hall.

A graduate of The Juilliard School and Manhattan School of Music, Rachmanov is professor and chair of keyboard studies at California State University-Northridge. Hailed as a “suave and gifted pianist” by The New York Times, Rachmanov is a prolific performer, clinician, lecturer and recording artist.

The recital is free and open to the public.
