Coming Soon: The Power of Efficient Practice

The February keyboard workshop is coming at just the right time!  Scott McBride Smith is offering a workshop “Efficient Practice: Cures for the Bored-Practice Blues.”  During these cold winter months we all need help in motivating our students to work towards end of the year performance goals.

Come to Graves on Thursday February 18, at 10 a.m. and learn some new techniques for motivating and teaching students to practice.  Many teachers agree that teaching good practice skills is one of the most important things we can share with our students.  Good practice can help them to become productive “lifetime musicians”.

I plan to invite some of my adult students to attend this workshop. I think all of us will find something new to help us in our quest to become better pianists and teachers.

Our clinician, Scott McBride Smith is the president elect of the National MTNA. You really don’t want to miss this event! See you there.
